Points

A merchant can access this page by going through the options of “Promotions” to “Make a New Perk”. Then, when the merchant clicks on “Points Perks”, the page will show an option for entering the name, description, image, and store details for the perk. Once all the data has been entered, the Nextbutton will activate the information and move to the next page. On the second page, the merchant needs to configure the points perks with the following details:

  • Eligibility items:  It will allow the merchant to select the products that this particular points promotion is applicable to.
  • Points: This is the number of points the user can collect when they buy the eligible products. The points can range from 1 to 100,000 with 1000 points commonly equating to $1.
  • Limit perks: This option helps the merchant to set a time frame for the promotion, which will disable the default option. When the merchant toggles this button, the calendar component will appear.
  • Limit one per client: The merchant can configure this perk to be collected only once by the user. By default this option is disabled.
  • Limit stocks: This option helps the merchant to control the perk for a specific number of eligible items.
  • Client selection: The merchant can decide whether this points promotion is available for all users or only to new clients.
  • Overlapping or exclusion: By setting this option, merchants control whether these promotions can be used with other promotions. , and which ones. The No Exclusive option is selected by default which enables the customer to mix and match with any other options. The second option available is Exclusive, where customers cannot combine this promotion with others. Lastly, there is the Master Perk, which customers can combine with other exclusive promotions.

Once the merchant has entered all of the details and validated their choices, the Save button will save these changes to the database.

Also, like other pages, a merchant can Activate/ Deactivate the perk by clicking on the toggle button on the top of the page. By default the value is inactive, and the merchant should explicitly activate it when necessary

Rewards

The user can access this page from the “Promotions” menu, selecting the Rewardsoption to Edit/Duplicate. The merchant will enter the name, description, image, store details, and other parameters such as:

  • Reward Items: This drop-down list displays all of products. Merchants can set the reward item(s) for the promotion, which the customers would redeem with their accumulated points.
  • Points: The merchant can set the amount for points required by the user to redeem a reward item
  • Extra charges: The merchant can choose whether to add extra charges on the reward items. This can be used when the items have an add-on associated with them.
  • Time Limit: The merchant can set a date range for the loyalty card. The customer would only be able to redeem the points during this time limit frame.

Once the merchant completes the configuration of perks, the details will be saved in the database upon clicking the Save button.

Loyalty Cards (was Punch Card)

The Loyalty Card is a main components of our promotion strategy. The idea is that if a user purchases an item(s), he would get scanned on their digital loyalty cards for each eligible item purchased. Once the user reaches the peak number of scans, a number designated by the merchant, they can then redeem the reward from the merchant.  These reward items are usually ones that do not cause any additional charges for the user.

By keeping this basic guideline in mind, the merchant can use this page to create loyalty cards, modelling them based on their business projections.
