Get a Free Item

A merchant can access this page through Promotions → Make a new Perk → Free item. The form is divided into three parts.

First part of the form collect basic informations such as name, description, image and store details. Also, merchant can make this promotion exclusive only to selected customer by creating a unique promo code and sending it to them in someway(flyer, promo emails). This promotion will not appear in the mobile application. To enable this option, the merchant can toggle the Hide this Perk button to active. Once all the informations are filled and validated the Next button will get activated and clicking on the same will redirect them to second page.

Second part of the form collect the following:

• Choose items: One or more items from the products available under this promotion
• Limit perks: This option help the merchant to set a timeframe for the promotion and default this option is disabled. When the merchant toggle this button, the calendar component appear.

• Limit day & time of the week: Merchant can set the availability time of this promotion by toggling this button. When it is active, a calendar icon will be displayed right to the text and the following modal pop up when clicking on the icon

The merchant can set the available time for each day by clicking on the day on the left side and adjusting the toggle to set the available times.

• Limit one per client: The merchant can configure this perk to be collected only once by the user. By default this option is disabled.
• Limit stocks: This options help the merchant to control the perks for number of eligible items.
• Extra charges: Some time the users needs to add extra items to the free items they receive. The merchant can choose to charge the customer for that extra items here.
• Client selection: The merchant can decide whether this points promotion available for all users or only to new clients. Which will help them attract new customer with exclusive offers for them
• Overlapping or exclusion: It’ not here since Free Item deal is a master deal.

Once the merchant configure all the options and inputs are validated, the Next button on the top of the screen becomes active and clicking the same will redirect them to the next page.

In the last screen, the merchant can set a minimum cart value required amount required to qualify for this promotion. We also suggest the merchant to add a minimum cart value to stimulate the total sales. Then the merchant can set values in Cart Value Exceeds input, when some value is entered here, the user will be notified about this promotion after their cart value exceeds the set amount. If the user selected Hide This Perk option from the first form, then the merchant is required to enter a value here.

On the top right we have the Save button which will be activated only when all the details are validated and also, the active/ deactivate toggle button will help the merchant to make it available.
